No sound in stereo

    Ok i figured out the problem, i also changed the case for this pc and it doesn't have front audio ports, so i should have put some jumpers on the board or otherwise the rear line out on the board is cut out.

    I spent several hours and digging through many sites and threads and I couldn't find a solution. I have the alc850 and had the same situation as you, everything looked good, win 7 showed the speakers playing sound, but I didn't hear a single thing from the speakers. Your solution did the trick!

Hi, Im having problems getting the sound to play on both of my speakers. I am hooked up to a reciever via a 3.5mm to RCA cable. ive tried plugging the RCA end of the cable into several ports in the back of the reciever, although Im only familiar with that being a problem when plugging into a phono...
