    Quickly switch default audio from speakers to HDMI and visa versa

    is there a way to quickly switch default audio from speakers to HDMI and visa versa with one click or even automatically switch to HDMI when displaying to a 'digital television' (or when an HDMI cable is plugged in) and switch back to speakers when displaying to the 'monitor' (or when the cable is unplugged i am doubtfull of this though as my intel graphic tray has enough trouble switching back to the monitor when the HDMI is unplugged i have to do it manually beforehand)

    my main line of though is two batch files, one for switching to HDMI and one to switch to seekers, or one with an if statement i.e.

    if (default_audio == Speeaker) set default_audio = HDMI
    else set default_audio == Speeaker

    can this be done

    Win7 Audio Switcher is easy

    I had previously found another solution:

    Win7AudioSwitcher | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net

    It can either autorun or be manually started and quit, gives a handy tray icon, and takes a 'mere' meg of memory. On my system it just works out of the box. The suggested AutoHotKey may be the greatest but if you read the comments there you'll see there's a learning curve and possible script editing tweaks needed.
