Just sharing my experience with audio setting.

Actually all program having 12 to 24 equalizing channels will do. But if you have much concern for best bass booster, means a pure bass frequency without any interference with all others frequencies then equalizer won't work that much.

Just use a software or sound processor that have a capability to serve a separate low frequency line out connected to separate sound amplifier that drives any size of subwoofer speaker.

Why don't you just take it out from one of 5.1 or 7.1 sound card setting output? All you need is only a powerful sound amplifier with sensitive input line in, real subwoofer speaker. And let the equalizer play the mid range to high range frequencies.

I have this setting on my own home theater.

Hi, looking for an aftermarket sound card for my system. Mostly for 2.1 audio and must have integrated headphone amplifier. Must be 100% compatible with 64 bit windows and Linux so good driver support.

Good Sound card For Windows 7
So I'm pretty much building a whole new computer, just using the same case, video card, and sound card. But I'm thinking maybe I should change the sound card to something that's more stable with windows 7. Right now I'm using the X-Fi Titanium and it's rather hit or miss whether drivers will...

Sound quality no so good with 'Line-In'
I have binned my 5.1, the subwoofer was playing up. I have purchased a pair of Logitech Z-2300. I kid you not, the sound quality through WMP is unreal. The problem i have is when i initially first set up, i only connected the green cable from the subwoofer to the green jack on my soundcard. I...

Bad sound quality in MC / good in WMP
mp3s that play perfectly in WMP are playing with very bad quality in media center (cracking sounds, slow downs...). I have seen people with similar issues but mostly with x64 setups. Can this be a driver problem and if so does anyone have a pointer for better audio drivers? This is really...

Good (short) Sound Files
OK, we've done the "youtube dump", how about some short ".wav" files for use as alternates to the default Windows sound files (new mail, shutdown, etc)? (And.... what's a good way to post them here?)
