    Wouldn't hurt to try, but i would try the latest drivers first if you have not.

    im using latest driver. R 2.21

    and i dont have the codes : DevType_0888_SS147b1083
    i added manually and this is how it seems : What else can i do ? fornt jack still doesnt work.

    i realized that there is nothing to do with regs for my problem...
    just jack is not working.

    thru software i am able to do this.. realtek software u can choose which pin to act aas what.. u can even interchange mic with head phone.. front with back.. anyway u want..

    and its simple and very easy ..

    Neilsouth can you tell me how did you get the sounds from the rear speakers without using the speaker fill option can you explain it 2 me cz i speaker fill sound suckz

    I have a big problem now. Yersterday, I installed my windows 7 RC1 7100. And no sound.
    I have checked the sound driver several times, and it doesnt work at all although I have plugged my speaker in. Uninstall then reinstall. OMG. Here is my problem, help me:



    I have tried the regedit method, but I cannot find the way to the address.:

    I wrote a little thing to set Audio endpoint on the RealtTek HD without setting registry settings. Win 7 finally lets us set endpoints on the fly without restarting the apps, the little app will let you change audio endpoints system wide, either with the gui or with commandline switches

    It's really hardwired for English only:
