    Too loud volume

I have a Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset, and when I use it it's always too loud. Even when I turn the volume down to 1, it's too loud at times. I have tried it on 3 different computers, and it happens on all of them. I have gone to the control panel and tried to turn down all sound options, but it doesn't help. What should I do?

This is a USB gaming headset, from what I see. This most likely has it's own built in amplifier as it's not using the PC's sound card. Check with Corsair on how to control the volume.

Do you have the driver installed? Or are you just using the Windows driver?

I'm glad someone went there, I was afraid it was just TOO obvious.
