    Need help on how to make all sound come out of one speaker


    My right speaker is busted, only my left speaker works. On my dual boot Windows XP, I could move all of my sound to my left speaker, but on Windows 7, I see no way to do this.

    Is there a way to do it on Windows 7? Or maybe a program is needed to intercept the sound to make it go to the left speaker?

    Hi
    Welcome to the forums.
    Right click the little speaker icon in the systray notification area at the far right of the taskbar. If you don't see it go to control panel and find the sound oprions in there. Go to playback devices and highlight you speakers from the list, click properties, at the first master volume slider click the balance button on the right.
    Push the left chanel to 100%.
    Apply-ok quit-enjoy !

ok, so i talk to best buy and what they said is that theoreticaly it would work to just take the negitive and positive leads, connect resistors and LEDs... good to go, but without a series of switchs, when i crank the volume it would blow the resistors and leds. the guy i talked to said hes done it...
