thanks. No rush on it. Honestly it would be nice if i could get it to work but otherwise dont mind doing over and over.

Apply button is greyed out
Hey, If I open up anything and change it's settings, the apply button is greyed out. The settings change but once I restart they are back to what they were before. Thanks for the help

Sound Control panel takes 2 minutes to open; HDMI sound inconsistent
Brand new Windows 7 Home Premium (6 bit) computer. When I click on the Sound control panel item, sometimes it takes 1-2 minutes to open. But that's kind of minor (although I'd like to know how to fix it), because sometimes the HDMI sound to my HDTV works fine, and sometimes it doesn't work at all....

Does changing "Power & sleep button settings" only apply to laptops?
Hi all, I have a W7 x64 desktop. I have set the Power Options>System Settings - Define power buttons (When I press the power & sleep button) to "Do nothing", yet i can still shut down my desktop via Start>Shutdown and by pressing the physical power button. What gives?
