I have an Andrea USB audio sound card/adapter similar to the one shown above and I also have a Force Feedback headset capable of USB or jack connection. The sound card is a Creative SoundBlaster Fatality 1. Output is to a Logitech 5.1 surround system. My issue is slightly different from yours in that I do want the game sounds to playback simultaneously through a USB port or USB to Jack combo adapter since the force feedback is more responsive and sharper as compared to jack splitting the sound off of one of the speaker leads using an adapter.

My question is this can the system USB or USB sound card be configured to simultaneously send a copy the game sound to the USB card/headset? If so how?

As for some additional specs my system is a homebuilt Asus P8Z68-v GEN3 Win 7 64; I7-2700k

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I was unable to copy an existing sound out and have it play somewhere a second time. It seems possible for certain motherboards and soundcards, but I haven't looked into that.
