    Hi,

Kindly confirm after upgrading from Win XP to Win 7, have you installed the latest Win 7 audio driver?

If yes, then run the Windows Audio Playback Diagnose and Repair from the below mentioned MS FIX-IT: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/AudioPlayback/

    Let me know the results

    Hi,

Are there any other peripherals working on this same USB port? If yes, try connecting your speakers on another USB port and check if you are able to get the sound. If still nothing works, kinldy try checking the speakers on any other computer or IPOD and share the model of speakers on this forum.

Other USB devices seem to work fine, I've tried plugging the speakers to other USB ports aswell. Works on my cellphone, clearly it's not the problem since it works fine on XP.

    Speaker is Havit, model HV-A331

    Hi,

It seems like there is no problem with USB ports or speakers. This issue could be related to the software compatibility with Win 7, however I will suggest you to download the Driver Manager of Havit from the URL mentioned and check if that works:
    http://www.drivermanager.com/en/drivers.php?Brand=Havit&Logo=havit&gclid=CP-MkNSuwbICFU6mPAodFT8ACg

If that doesn’t work, try contacting HAVIT and check with them if they can provide any driver or software to install these speakers on Win 7 computer.

(Link doesn't seem to work, haven't done this with gyazo before. Here's the direct link: http://gyazo.com/41380ad342865f69f72622e24d26df46.png)

I got this from the Driver Manager after scanning, I would go with it updating automatically but apparently I need to buy the program. Anything else you would like to add?

    Hi,

Do you have any other set of speaker’s which can be connected to the system? If yes, just check if they are getting detected or whether you are able to hear windows Log in or Log off sound?

If another external speaker works, then try to update the audio driver from the audio card manufacturer website.

    Hi,

As you said 2 other USB speakers are also not working, If possible try updating the USB and Chipset drivers from support.dell.com, may be that update can make these speakers work.
