    Broadcasting MIDI device live?

Hi, I've got a MIDI keyboard and I'd like to broadcast what I'm playing live on TinyChat. Not sure how to go about this, selecting What U Hear doesn't work because it starts an echo chain. Is there anyway of making a MIDI device have it's own recording device in Windows?

It's connected by USB so I can't use Line In or something like that either.

I have a recording studio (I use Sonar X2) and Ihave several MIDI synths and a MIDI keyboard. But, I don't know of any software that will do what you want - not to say there isn't but I don't know of any.

Can't believe how limited these kinds of things are in this day and age. Is there literally no way of a MIDI device having it's own recording device option in Windows? No way of fooling Windows into thinking it's a Line In device? There must be a way.

An outboard MIDI synth (hardware unit) that converts it to audio would be one option.

It's not connected through a MIDI port, just USB.

My Edirol (now rebranded as Roland) has both USB and MIDI I/O on it. I can use either one, but I use USB to connect to the MIDI synth's in Sonar and Band In A Box.

But, that doesn't help what you want to do. Get a keyboard that has headphone audio out and you can run that to the audio in on your PC and do what you want. My wife has a Yamaha keyboard that has a headphone out..
