    Cant find how run games audio via another sound card.


    Hello. i want play games with headphones and at same time wife wach tv. i buy aditional sound card but dont know how swith(cofigure) that flash player use optical way game front socket (front panel connected on aditional sound card)
    i try see in game (f1 2012) options to change audio but no setups for that.
    any ideas?

    I am no expert on this sort of set up re doing these two operations at once on the same machine so just how exactly are you running the two features at the same time?

    I have that card myself and my front panel sockets do not work if the card is plugged in.

    Very few games have the option of which sound device to use and just use the Windows default device. Same goes for browsers if that is what she is using to watch TV.

    For what you want to do you have to change it in the media player that is being used. Can't do it in Windows Media Player, but most other media players do.

    You can change the audio output device in Windows Media Player.
    Tools > Options > Devices > Speakers

    I don't think that this will be the solution in this particular case.

    Just wondering if an audio device driven from a USB might work somehow ot if the TV stream ran through an external device.
