Realtek Audio HD Manager Equilizer Problem

When one of my friends built this computer for me, the Realtek Audio Manager was working flawlessly. It's been about a year since this computer was first built, and now I'm having troubles with the program. Usually I was able to adjust the sounds using the equalizer and the Room correction, now I do not have the tabs. I've reinstalled to see if anything, and nothing changed. Please help!

Did you install a different sound driver at one time? Or is the driver you reinstalled the correct driver? You should use the motherboard vendor (since this is a custom build) supplied RealTek driver.

I also have a Gigabyte motherboard and the Gigabyte supplied RealTek driver.

I also notice the Stereo Mix is not set as the Default Recording Device. I don't know if that will cause some tabs not to show, but you need the Stereo Mix set as the Default Recording Device.

Hi i have realtek sounds and windows 7 and dont have that problem you have, firstly i dont use my eq to correct my sound or do i use room correction i just use the volume cause i have a bass booster system, i know with realtek you have to turn off the digitol side and just have speakers and make that your default sound application, to tweak your sound and avoid the eq go to control panel hardware and sound and go realtek hd audio manager, set your configuration to 7.1 for your speakers and i also tick all the ticks for bass fill and speaker fill and surround speakers oh and make sure you have the latest drivers which are the R270 from realtek, visit realtek site if not sure to obtain the latest driver hope this helps
