Cannot "listen live" to radio stations

Since installing Win 7 I can no longer listen to radio stations. When I click on the 'listen live now' button the sound just doesn't start. Youtube & MP3s etc work ok. What tweaking needs doing??

Do you have (and have selected) Stereo Mix (could be called System Mixer)? Also are you using the correct Gigabyte supplied sound driver?

Stereo Mix is found in the Sound Panel/Recording Tab section. That would be the first place to start.

What on earth is 'stereo mix'? My box has my Logitech headset mike green-ticked. But what has 'recording' got to do with listening to the radio on-line?

Stereo Mix is needed if you want to record streaming audio from the net.

Your issue with "listen live now", what player are you using for this? Could be an issue with a plug-in or Codec that's needed. But, its probably not a PC "sound device" issue since other audio, such as what you listed works OK.

I have Flash & Windows media player. The problem is common across the radio network for me. and its been like this too long to 'rollback system restore'.

On opening 'listen live' its always 'ready' & pushing 'play' results in no action.

Stations who offer HTML5 & Flash player options its always 'buffering........" but never accomplishes its buffering.

AaLF, type 'device manager' in the start menu 'search programs and files' box and hit enter. Open the section as in my image.
