suddently no sound from Windows 7

    Hello friends,
    Please help me.
Suddenly I cant hear any sound from my speaker. It was ok before.
My motherboard ASRock -Wolfdale1333-D667 has onboard soundcard. I checked all the sound setting they are ok. Any of of them are not muted. I also reinstalled realtek latest sound card. but no luck.

I have dule boot system (windows 7 + WindowsXP). Strange thing is even i cant hear sound from windows xp . I tested my speaker on other system, they are working fine.
I also cant cant hear sound using headphone.

Please give me your suggestion. Thank you

As you can't get sound in either Windows 7 or Windows XP from the Integrated (on the motherboard) sound, it looks like there has been a hardware failure with the RealTek sound module.

In case there is just a setup issue, (1) verify the sound is enabled in the BIOS and then (2) reinstall the Intel Motherboard chipset drivers and finally the sound drivers. Use the chipset and sound drivers from the ASRock downloads for your motherboard.

If this does not fix it, most likely the sound chip has failed and you will have to install a separate sound card.
