No sound after PSU switch(old one stopped working)
Hello!
Here is my problem with a little back story.
On the night of 22nd December everything was fine. I went to bed and left the computer running to watch a movie(Pulled out the Headphones[front jack] to activate the speakers[rear jack]). I used the program "Hot Keyboard Pro" to shut my PC down(I fell a sleep before the PC shut down). When I woke up the next morning and pressed my PC power button nothing happened. So I bought a new PSU today and switched it out.
Now the PC is working just fine except there is no sound. I checked in the device manager, under "Sound, video and game controllers", it shows "Realtek High Definition Audio". And when I double-click it, the "Device Status" is "This device is working properly".
When I open my Playback devices, it shows that my headphones(front 3.5mm jack) are plugged in but my speakers(rear 3.5mm jack) aren't. Also my microphone, which is in the rear jack, shows in unplugged. And what I noticed is that, when I turn something that should generate sound on(Youtube for example), the volume levels start moving in the volume mixer.
Here you can find my hardware:

(And I have another small question, is it normal for new PSU-s to smell a bit? Like this weird electric smell.)
