How to disable SRS Sound Premium?

It's conflicting with my 7.1 sound card...
Is there a way to disable it and enable it?

Also if i were to remove the IDT High Definition Audio Codec - Speaker and Headphones and Communications Headphones does that mean i won't have sound on my computer when i want to use the computer speakers and not my headphones?

Please reply cause i never get replies on this thread when asking for help :)

try this, right click the speaker icon in the systems tray (bottom right of taskbar)
select playback devices, srs should show ,maybe as default
click your other playback device and set it as default, see if that helps.
i wouldnt remove the high def codecs .

Well what got me thinking is that im using a 7.1 Surround Sound Card for my Headset right, so i really want to see if its actually working on the sound.

I have 2 sound enhancements that boost my sound which is the SRS and the Sound Card application. When i change around the volume settings on SRS the volume changes.

I checked and its not on there its on my start menu

it will be in control panel.
seems to me that your srs device is acting as the default device despite the usb being set to default.
im thinking that you dont need to have the usb card set as default. im guessing that when you use it with your headphones then it would work as it should ,leaving the srs device to function as it should when the phones and 7.1 are not in use.

The entry for the only sound device that shows as enabled on the list looks a little generic, I would check on the manufacturer's site and see if there is a later driver available, a lot of windows update supplied drivers are cut down versions that do not provide control of all options, they are there just to get you up and running - the prime example of this is the Realtec drivers, these are on WU but do not have and real controls available whereas the full drivers available from the manufacturer have all the bells and whistles

Check for a website for the manufacturer of the actual USB audio device, hopefully they will supply device specific drivers for the actual kit they make. There should be a set of device specific drivers supplied with the kit when purchased or maybe a link address in the documentation

This is not always easy to find as a lot of smaller manufacturers will buy in the actual audio hardware from another company so it is then a case of ascertaining the actual audio chips used It would seem that in this case they may be IDT chips though there does not appear to be any drivers available on their site from a cursory glance
