I updated both of the links .
Click here . You should have the BIOS file and the WinFlash Utility . Launch the WinFlash utility then from within the program open the bios .
Manual Download
Download
unzip the file by right clicking on the file and choose extract all . Inside the manual it will show you how to use the WINFLASH utility to update the BIOS .
Try this . Create a Startup Repair disc to get to the command prompt
System Repair Disc - Create
Hi there
After you connect the HDMI cable to the TV have you set the display to ONLY display on the TV --if you have the display set to BOTH (Duplicate) or "Extend screen" then you probably won't get sound on the TV.
Not sure if it's the same command in W7 but on W8 you press the Windows + P key and then choose display on second screen only.
I'm sure similar command is available in W7. (I'm currently using a W8 laptop so I can't check the W7 key combination but I'm sure it is actually the same --I'm sure I've done this at work when displaying a presentation on a projector from a W7 laptop with HDMI output).
Screen shot enc.
Just checked my computer connected to an LG 24 inch LCD TV -- Sound only available as above when set to display on 2nd monitor only with Windows + P key. Setting via Intel graphics driver or other utility doesn't work for sound when HDMI is used so use the Windows + P keys.
If your computer has a VGA connection (Standard Monitor or called on the TV PC connection) you can test if sound works by connecting the VGA to the TV and see if you get sound on your computer (Not the TV). Remove the HDMI cable from the computer of course before doing this test. The VGA connector might be also called these days RGB but it's basically the standard "Old fashioned" Monitor connection cable.
If you can't get sound on the computer at all then "Houston..... we have a problem...." but I don't think lack of sound is an issue with the computer here.

i just tested it, and it still doesnt work if ive had the computer in hibernation mode previously.
no, its worked with the display on both. it works as long as i restart the computer because i always put it in hibernation mode instead of shutting off.
why do i need to do a system repair disk? what does it exactly do?
