Disabling annoying system/folder "beep" sound
Okay, so, before anything else... I've already gone in and changed my system sounds. Everything but a handful of sounds (Device Connect/Disconnect, Email) have been turned off.
However, whenever I open a folder on my desktop and click anything within that folder - subfolder, back or forward button, the "address bar" (not sure what else to call it - its the bar where your system/folder location goes, like Music > Country), I get this annoying little beep sound like someone hit a high key on a piano.
I only ever hear it when I have my headphones on, thankfully... but it drives me absolutely NUTS when I do have them on!! And I cant find a single thing in Sounds to turn it off. And I wouldn't even begin to know how best to Google it to find an answer that way.
Also, I am aware I can just mute my system sounds (I had it that way before for this very reason) but since Windows Live Messenger is now Skype and does not notify about new emails (nor do they ever plan to apparently), I need my system sounds turned on so I know when I get email.
So, if any one knows how to turn this ever so "charming" notice sound OFF, please tell me. Thank you!
