    Are you using a Acer MB or a Packard Bell MB?
    AX3400 U3032 No sound or icon for hdmi - Acer Support Community

    just found a thread where you asked for help at Acer ,there you say the board is from a backard bell,is this the same board you are using now ,if so did you get the needed drivers from backard bell oe Acer for the sound

    that was the first one. What I got now is acer and I have tried 3 acer boards all the same. These boards are made for this computer

    just checking ,local computer store near me,where i help out some times , sell a lot of these acer machines and i see a lot of them coming back in with problems .

    it sure sounds like a driver issue ' but could be hardware ,hard to say from a far
