    My sound doesn't work?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 and have been dealing with this problem for a pretty long time. Occassionally, I will be playing a youtube video or something and I'll pause it and come back to it and the sound wont work. It wont work through the speakers or headphones.. I usually restart my computer and it always works fine, but I need to know another way to fix the sound without restarting it.. Im not sure if it has something to do with FL Studio but yeah idk i need heeeeellllppp. Thx!

Hello Steve probably a dumb question but you have checked all the usual stuff like drivers??

One thing for starters try a scannow SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Hello and welcome - try a scannow for starters agenth SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

The motherboard details would be handy too as well as the blaster model number.

Did you check if you selected the right device? Maybe its the default one from your motherboard is selected not the sound blaster.

Sorry late reply but Gigabyte Ultra 3 could be any number of boards my friend so what is the actual board model number?

If you run Speccy it will show this up plus temps etc would also be handy. http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download from piriform

I am also wondering where the OP is??

To the original poster (before this thread got hijacked).

I have a recording studio (Sonar X2). Do you have FL software running when you encounter other audio problems? If it is, exit out of FL and see if that makes a difference.
