Well I think you have lost the interests of anyone who could help you by your flippant know-it-all attitude matey. This forum along with the Vista and Win 8 forum have been doing all wrong since 2005 or so, but get along quite well. The founder and owner has set up a very nice system that works if one chooses to work within it. With your standards a forum would be one big all encompassing thread.
Due to the millions of different hardware configurations two issues that are "the same", aren't at all.

For the record I read post #8

Well for one no one is looking for a witch hunt you might have a issue that might seem like a issue we have seen before but you have to give it time for people to set in and help you

Now I know when I do searches of information of specific matter most of the time search results brings up this forum believe it or not and that is probably why you were hearing all of this and that

This forum has been around a long time your issue maybe uncommon to you but people that have been here a while have seen many hardware configurations and combinations that they can almost guess by reading what the issue is sometimes there is no solving the issue and you just have to either move on to the next step or think about doing something else

Everyone here likes to help just don't want bickering between people because we are all adults and there is no reason to throw jabs back and fourth if it is really something that is a problem with how someone replys you can simply have a private chat or even ask a mod to have a chat with them simple as that but it must be a valid reason simple disagreement shouldn't constitute aggression towards each other
I wish you luck on your issue though and hope it get's corrected soon

    OK - Thank you!

ON TOPIC: I have tried the 'X-Fi' in different PCI slots, which did change the IRQ from 21 to 23 but now it is sharing with a USB controller instead of the Wi-Fi PCI card; this has made no difference, the buffer/latency stuttering is still present and the sound no better.

    @thedoc735,

    1. Stepping all over the last thread we lost the OP.
    We don't like that.
I did apologise (& say sorry) publicly on this forum to Kwitel. What else do you want me to do please?
I was unaware that 'joining in' with an OP thread is not aloud - again very sorry!

I have also started my own thread 'herein' in an attempt to 'make amends'.

Apologies to all for my mistake.

If you are thinking of banning me (?) please consider simply allowing me to close my own account for this forum, so that I have some measure of dignity left intact. You have made me feel very guilty for my mistake and I do not expect absolution from you. I admit I was wrong! Thank you.

Hello and welcome back Doc look mate I think you have had your hiding in many posts and I am apoligising to you as I must take some of the blame too for going along with your query in that thread in the first place.
So if anyone thinks that it was all your fault then it wasn't I should have pulled up way back and again I am sorry that you have copped a flogging because I did "encourage" your participation in that thread originally in that sense.

So I am also apologising also to everyone else and especially kwitel for anything I did and I think it only fair that I should receive some criticism as much as Doc has got. I am not saying this for any particular reason apart from my own sense of what is the honourable to do and that is not let Doc take all the blame.

Anyone who knows me will know that I am not a BS artist and I sincerely mean what I am about to post - because I was brought up to do the honourable thing.

I hope we can now move on and see if we can help out the Doc with his issue.
