Well lelos that really smacks of something or some component breaking down with time.
Have you still got the old GPU as the problem as you say started with the new card going in and I am thinking it might be worth try it again or try the on board graphics if the problem doesn't recur the card is suspect eh?
By the by did you ever try the memtest??
i havent run memtest since i added 8gb extra ram, i dont have a usb flash to run memtest can i do it through windows?
well the card i think its working fine i bought it first and then after a week i updated all drivers and the problems started.
i dont have also my old card to try it
but one more thing also with a latency monitor report the usbport.sys cause these spikes as u can see in the screenshot in first thread
my problem is fixed what i did was usb driver reset and usb power state reset
Funny, I had the exact same popping/crackling noise problem with my computer, but I found out it was my Wireless Network Adapter that was causing my problem.
