All the voices on this BBC film from the very beginning are too low as well....

Interestingly I can play home videos with the sound as normal in VLC and Windows Media Player, headphones and jack ok but not on the web, the same as another poster on here yesterday only his was alien sounds....
Sound messed up from the web; OK with Media Player

Found this page which I think is the answer at least for myself, hope it helps others....
