No sound in firefox

    No sound in firefox


    So, I'm not getting any sound to play out of firefox. here's the weird thing, I can see in the volume mixer that there is sound coming out of firefox (because of the dancing green level meter) and the volume for firefox is turned all the way up and not muted, but I still don't hear anything from it. Other programs are working fine though. What's going on?

Hey, i recently upgraded to windows 7, and in the volume mixer firefox does not appear. No sound works in firefox. I also tried google chrome and it doesnt work. Any ideas?

This started a few days ago, I played any youtube video and then no sound after the first few seconds. Chrome doesn't have this problem, I tried updated to the latest flash player but it still exist. What do I need to show you to help me solve the problem? Thanks.

Running Firefox 3.05 on Windows 7 x64 7000 and I get sound from some places and not from others. YouTube is fine, 183 Top Gear - One Tank Fuel Trip (Part 1)- Video is nothing. I have installed ffdshow and still no luck. I also noticed no sound from WMV files. Thoughts?
