    Is it possible to monitor what I am recording when I am using the Sound Recorder

    What are you going to record? Mic input? or some other input.

    I'm not sure about the Sound Recorder, as I don't use it. The free, and popular, Audacity recording program will allow you to monitor what you are recording, whether its from the Mic, Line In or streaming audio from the Internet (if you have Stereo Mix).
