Making Subwoofer Sound Louder

With more info about your PC's hardware I could be more specific, but we'll wing it for now.

Check my attachment for connections. Make sure you have all three connections exactly as in the diagram. This is critical. NOTE: Each audio connection is numbered. (I added color to the original B&W illustration.)
There is a Bass Level control on the back of the subwoofer. Set that relatively high for now.
20% volume level on the other speakers is a good starting point.

If the above doesn't help we need more info.

Is this a new product or one that has stopped working properly?
Did you build this PC?
Is audio built into the motherboard or separate audio card?

i checked all the connections and they are same like the diagram ,

i checked the bass level control on the back of the subwoofer and its on its full power (stongest bass possible)

it is a new product , bought it from a store , i DID NOT build this computer , a computer shop built it for me for gaming and such about 4 years ago ,

im not sure if the audio is built in the mother board or a sound card ... i have a screen capture of the device manager > sound :

Can you pull out your receipt or open it up and get some detailed pictures of the individual components. Can you give us a screen shot after right clicking on the speaker icon in lower right corner and left clicking playback devices.
General rule of thumb if the audio has two rows of plugs then that's an on board audio and if it's just one longer row then that's a sound card as pictured above.

With the onboard audio you might have to see the unchecked box "Equalization Loudness" in Sound Options to boost the overall system sound.

If you have a PCI or PCI-e card install you should have to software from the brand installed and therefore could set your own sound options.

Check whenever you have an onboard or PCI Card installed!

NoN , i dont have any softwares from the brand so i guess its onboard ? and the Equalization Loudness is not checked in there ... should i check it ?

You could give it a try...some reporting that when checked on some player like iTunes it does lower the sound (kind of muffling it)... but that in general with other players it had boost a gain to their sound system.

If you have dolby settings in WMP, set it normal. Check also if in WMP the SRS WOW doesn't muffle the sound when "Equalization Loudness" in On.

Just test with a media file and see if it does improve for you. On my side before i went to an internal PCI Card, the box was checked on my onboard and playing with WMP12 it was fine.

I'm wondering if your subwoofer might be defective. Can't think of where else the problem might be. Sorry.
