I'm out of here. I gave you the info, the other person has jumped in and asked for the model number, that you gave. I linked you to the correct sound driver.
Deal with the other person.

@ fireberd - Hey! dont get mad...he just wants to help me as well...Anyways...i tried installing the chipset from the website (chose version 9.1.1.1020). As the download finishes and i Click the ok button to begin the installation. A "Question" pop up appears that says "This computer currently contains software version 9.4.0.1017 which is a newer version. Are you sure you want to overwrite the current software with an older version (9.1.1.1020)? Is it a Yes or a No?
As for the sound driver...as i said...i dont know what to choose there....
Update!!!
SAndeep - Hey! i tried installing the card reader you said that makes the yellow (!) on Base system devices after installing and restarting my laptop...i checked my device manager and i dont have the 3 (!) anymore! Yehey!!
BUT....i still dont have sound which is my MAJOR main problem....
@fireberd - I feel so sad about what you said What i believe in is 2 or more heads are better than one! :)
Hi fireberd,
You provided the correct links and drivers for updating Chipset and Audio. However, PCI and VEN info suggested by jehuty2013 suggested all drivers for the RICOH card reader are missing and that was the reason I suggested these drivers.
I only wanted to help and did not want to contradict you. If you felt offended then please accept my apologies for the same.
Tried doing the "add legacy hardware again to install my Realtek but to no avail....it still doesnt install and still says "the extended attributes are inconsistent"
Arrrgghh...i hate this
Hi jehuty2013,
Its great to hear that drivers are installed successfully and now there are no yellow marks in device manager.
Kindly install these two drivers on the system and one of them should resolve the issue with the audio as well:
Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)
Posted Date: 2009-09-04 | Version: 6.0.1.5854 | Size: 36.27M
Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)
Posted Date: 2009-06-25 | Version: 4.8.0.0 | Size: 3.16M
Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
Update
Conexant failed to install..i dont know why...it just says FAILURE...
Downloading the Realtek now...wish me luck
Update
Downloaded Realtek. Upon installing. A blue screen appeared welcoming me to the installation process. As i click the "Next" button, a Pop up appears and says "No driver was supported in this driver package" Clicking "Ok" button closes the window and nothing happens.
Waaaa! am getting frustrated huhuhu :'(
