    Choppy Video in All Pre-rendered Media


    Hi Folks,

    I hope someone can help on this as I am tearing my hair out right now.

    Ok I'll keep this as simple as possible, I am experiencing an issue with all video in all media players both streamed and otherwise including game cut scenes. Video plays for a second then freezes and a second later catches up, this continues throughout the duration of the video.

    All 3D applications run fine and smoothly even on extreme settings, this only seems to affect pre-rendered video.

    So far I have updated graphics drivers, updated directx, installed new codecs and tried running with hardware acceleration both enabled and disabled. No joy in anything I have tried. System was working fine then I installed an SSD for my C Drive. Reinstalled to exactly the same spec as before and now this problem started.
