    Internal speakers/headphones issue...


    When I plug my headphones into my computer my internal speakers aren't turning off. Can anyone help me with this?

    Hello and welcome Twisted mate the phones jack usually has a cut out switch for the speakers as it looks like you have a fairly well used machine there mate I am guessing the socket is worn to the point where the speaker switch is not being thrown. see pic

    Check in Control Panel for your sounds device's settings. Search it to see if you can fins an advanced setting as shown below and enable it.
