output sound at the same time on 2 displays

    Hi guys,

Problem - Installed Win 7 Pro x32 this week, and i want to output sound on my monitor and tv at the same time. I have a monitor hooked up via VGA and a TV via HDMI on the same graphics card.

At present only way to change sound output is using the playback devices control to switch when needed which is a pain i must say. Had this working on vista but cant remember how. (fluke i think)

    Any help appreciated! cheers

You should be able to disable a monitor's audio via the buttons on your monitor.
VGA does not have an audio signal, HDMI does.

You can only have one default playback device, either HDMI or "Speakers" (PC's sound card).
