    how to apply a specific sound to a specific action


    I have an audio file (mp3) of a toilet flushing , and I would like to make it so that every time I delete anything , I want to hear the toilet flush. what is the easiest way to apply that sound to the delete action ONLY , and what format do I need to convert my MP3 into so that it will work........

    Heh. I did that quite a few years ago with Win95.
    First off, you'll need to convert that mp3 to a .wav file. Audacity can do it in seconds.
    Put your .wav file in C: -> Windows -> Media
    Then go to your Control Panel, select Sound, then click the Sounds tab.
    Scroll down to Windows Explorer in the window you see, and click on Empty Recycle Bin.
    The dropdown box below will turn from grey to white. In that dropdown window, choose the name of the .wav file, in this instance, perhaps "Toilet".
    Click "Apply". Save your new sound scheme if you wish with a new name.
    Every time you empty the Recycle Bin, you'll hear your flush.
