Conexant audio hd - Error: Device can't be startet. (Code 10)

Hello,

i don't have any sound, Windows 7 says that no Audiodevice (in system control) installed and Windows 7 says (in device manager) Device can't be startet. (Code 10).

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite P100 Notebook

I attempted to install Vista or XP 32Bit driver but it flop's the message "Device can't be startet" or bluescreen.

Have anybody the same error and fixed it?

grets & thx

I had the same problem and was about to give up, but http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-...0718114232.zip
had the solution.

Are you able to put your computer to sleep? I can hibernate but not resume from a sleep.

Seems like similar problems between Windows & and Linux which had big issues with audio and hibernate/stand-bye

With 32-bit version Vista drivers work

Hey guess what?
I tried installing Toshiba official drivers for 32-bit Vista under Win 7 RC x32 and it finally worked guess I'll just have to wait for the 64-bit drivers to be ready...

Kushi, you are right. I tried using the official Toshiba drivers under 64-bit Windows 7 RC and never worked. However, under 32-bit Windows 7 RC, the same drivers worked perfectly. I guess we'll have to wait for Toshiba to release 64-bit drivers?
