    Windows 7 Compatible Audio Enhancement

    Hi,

So a few hours ago I completed my update to Win. 7 Ultimate 64-bit from Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Overall I am quite pleased, however, I have ran into my first problem: my laptop came with srs wow audio enhancement, and now when I select it, it says it only supports xp and vista. So my question is, what are some Win. 7 compatible alternatives to boosting my overall pc sound quality. For instance, I liked it how I could select "classical" mode or "vocal" mode on my srs wow very readily to change the sound quality when I was listening to anything, such as music in my itunes, or a youtube video, etc. So, what are some good alternatives?

You may not even need a replacement. win 7 offers a compatibily mode. try right clicking the file that you use to launch and go to properties>compatibility mode. check vista and save. see if it works. If not it may need to be installed in compatibility mode

Good luck and let us know if you need help

    Hey,

So, I attempted what you advised, and the thing is that the srs wow came with my computer, so there is actually a built in button for it on my keyboard. I searched my entire computer for "srs" and "wow," and all that the search came up with were various dll files. So I couldn't find any actual exe file for the srs wow, and thus wasn't able to try to use the compatibility mode.

But your advice gave me the idea of downloading something like srs audio sandbox and trying to use that in vista compatibility mode.
