How to connect wireless headphones to PC

Had no success googling this, so maybe help here?

Have a set of wireless headphones. Works fine with my ipod & mobiles. But how to pair up with win7PC?

Have a dongle bluetooth. It can see the mobiles in the house but not these w/less headphones. I've held the button down to initiate fast flashing (open headfones for pairing) but no show in win7.

Most BT dongles have software to load so go to the Mfgr's. site and pull the correct driver/software down.

I've used all kinds of different Bluetooth dongles and have never needed to load any drivers when using Win 7 or Win 8.

Are the headphones wireless or Bluetooth? Bluetooth is a wireless technology but just because the headphones are wireless, it doesn't mean they are Bluetooth.

I select 'bluetooth' on the mobiles to add the headphones without drama. And with this cheap ebay dongle it can see the mobile phones in win7. But not the headfones.

Are all dongles OK? Is there a certain type of thing I need? I see no 'software' needed for the dongle. Its a simple boring thing. Its driver is 'working properly'.
