Stop Hardware adjusting audio?

A recent problem has arisen and its bugging me as i dont know a work around.

The audio of my gaming pc keeps increasing to the max on its own when playing games, its a new thing thats just started happening, and there has been no recent hardware or software change that could account for this.

So what i wish to do is take away all hardware control to my audio, that being my k70's audio wheel, and my roccat kave inline control.

can you set windows to a default audio level?? not allowing it to change?

Theres no drivers for the corsair K70 so it cant be an issue there, and my roccat kave drivers are up to date.

fed up of being deaf with headphones on lol

Hello again badger,

Bottom right hand corner right click volume mixer,
Then select playback devices,
Choose your device then go to properties,
And advanced,
Untick " Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"
