Sound low, even when maxxed out.

Okay, so my sound is low, even when the sound slider is maxxed out. I have checked my mixer, and everything is maxxed but no dice. Sound is low with anything (Youtube, Spotify, a game, etc). The sound is just all around low. This occurs when I use my Steelseries Siberia Elites, or any other headphones. When I use my external speakers, though, the volume can go loud because, well... speakers.

Do you have the RealTek sound drivers, from Gigabyte? or do you have the generic, basic function Windows installed HD Audio Codec for the sound driver? If you only have the HD Audio Codec, install the correct RealTek driver and see if that changes anything.

Do you have an standard analog headset you can use? USB headsets do not use all the headset output functions that analog headsets do.

Can you plug your speakers into the front panel headset jack? for testing to see how loud that is.

Yes, I have the Realtek Drivers fully updated. I believe I have a standard analog headset. I am not the most informed on what most of this stuff means, but I do have headphones that plug into the headphone jack and not into an external soundcard like my Elites. I guess it has to do with not using all of the output functions, because when I unplug my elites from the usb soundcard and instead use a plug that came with them allowing me to plug it into the jack, the sound is louder.
So am I SOL when it comes to the sound while using this headset? It's a bit disappointing, because the soundcard allows for a custom engine to be used with the headset, as well as utilising some of its features.

Did you think of checking the playback options?

I have tried that. It didn't make much of a difference, and the sound was still way too bloody low for my liking. Playing Skyrim is unbearable with the low sound, even after using the Loudness Equalisation.

This may or may not help.
Start Orb and type in Audio and see if you have a Audio Manager. If you do, tick on it and see if you can find what you want.

What exactly is Orb? I don't seem to have it, or I am not looking correctly.

The Start Orb (button) is that little circle far left on the Taskbar with the Windows flag.

Ah. Yeah, I have Realtek. Although the settings only really apply to my speakers and not my headsets which are having the issue of not enough sound. There is a sound manager as well for my headphones (Steelseries Engine 3) and I have checked that as well. Sound is full and I have the EQ on Explosion for more sound, but sound is still low.

And it isn't an issue with the headphones themselves being broken or anything, as they blast when I am using them on my phone.
