    IBM z60m No sound?

Hello! After searching the forums, I can see other's with the same issue, however no fix posted? Does anyone know why my IBM z60m has no sound after a clean install of Windows 7? I had sound before? Now I have nothing, not even with external speakers or headphones. When I go to the device manager, it just says High definition sound device. When I go to manage sound devices it says high definition device ready, but it won't put out sound when I run the test. I have searched lenovo for sound card drivers, however apparently it is onboard and I can't get a clear set of drivers for the motherboard. Anyone fixed this issue with the z60m? Real bummer, nice laptop, no sound, no help from lenovo either.

Ok, after digging around on the net for an hour, I downloaded the HD audio drivers for win7 here: Realtek

I don't have the screen controls back (operated by the hard buttons at the top of the keyboard) but that's OK at least I have sound now.

I had the same problem, by upgrading the BIOS it fixed the problem.
