    Windows doen't remember audio settings

Whenever I adjust the sound settings in windows (device properties>enhancements), the settings which I set are not saved once I click apply and close the window.

    Settings I wish to apply.

What I see next time I open up the Window.

This seem to be some sort of bug, any suggestions?

Did you tick the Apply and then the OK after you made your selection?

If you are setting the options, then disconnect the headphones, and then later reconnect them, whatever settings you had are lost.

Correct, but the settings are lost within seconds of applying. I believe this may be a driver issue or just a bug.

I have updated all my drivers and gone through all the obvious and necessary steps, yet the problem persists. I should also add that this problem has only occurred since upgrading to Windows 8.1.

Whether the sound driver has any affect? do you have the correct sound driver installed for your sound chip?

I have found a solution. I used a virtual driver called DFX that allowed me to achieve the same result.
