Quiet audio playback with certain files (attached)

    Unfortunately, this didn't seem to work. Also, I accidentally hit the Mark Solved button instead of post reply. It's back to unsolved.

    Okay, so the attached file works fine. But the previously attached file (of the same name in my first post) does not. Besides the frequency of the audio, there's not much difference.

    So if I understand you correctly the problem is the audio files and this last buzzer.wav works OK???

    Yes, the one I attached in my last response is working as desired. The audio files had something wrong with them. No idea what.

    Sorry, as desired may not be appropriate. It is working at the proper volume. I believe that the clipping is messing with the loudspeaker, though, as it doesn't put the pauses in.

    Sounds like you may have to modify the sounds to get them where you want them.

    I use Goldwave, a shareware audio editor for my final step in my recording studio. Goldwave was what I used to convert the one tone from mono to stereo.

    I edited the clipping out of the audio file. I'll see if it works on Monday when I return to work.
