    Speech Recognition

I have updated W7 with English for user interface language to try out some software with speech commands.
It wasn't satisfying, so I uninstalled the extra language and returned to the original installed language for user interface installed: in my case Dutch.
Now, when I start up Windows, I get the message "Speech recognition not availabe for this language", in this case Dutch.
How can I de-activate speech recogniton at start up ?

Go to Control Panel/Ease of Access/Speech Recognition. Click on the Advanced Speech Options. In the Speech Properties panel there is an option to run speech recognition at startup.

Fireberd: ... in short, the problem is that I do not have the options "Advanced Speech Option". nor the "Speech Properties panel"
The attachement is a screencopy of the result when I select:
    Control Panel (=Configuratiescherm)/
    Ease of Access (= Toegankelijkheid)/
    Speech Recognition (=Spraakherkenning)

with the message "Windows Speech control is not available in the present user interface language", which in my space is Dutch ....

Can you go to the Control Panel/Programs

There are (in mine) options under Programs and Features to turn Windows features on or off. If you have this, you may be able to enable the speech options and then disable the startup.

This problem is better in a software section of the forum. Those more familiar with the OS workings may be able to help you (without having to do a complete new install).

Repost in this forum and see they can help you.
