DPC Latency Issues, Audio dropouts

    DPC Latency Issues, Audio dropouts


    So recently I have been noticing pops and crack sounds in my music. I did some research and came to the conclusion that it is the dpc latency. Here is all the information that you might need to help me with this issue.

    You can see that all of my drivers are updated here:

    Well, there AHCI driver isn't. But I just downloaded it from ASUS website but the program still shows it isn't updated.

    I don't know what to do anymore, I have pretty much updated all the drivers. This problem is pissing me off extremely. And oh, I did try a clean install of windows too (but obviously I had to re install all my drivers)

    I notice Avast is one of the items in the latency mon. Disable that and see if it helps.
    Also, if you have a wireless internet connection, wireless is known to cause the problem you are having.
