Headset microphone doesn't seem to detect voice

I've attached a screen from control panel.

I do not know why, but my microphone from headsets, despite being detectable, doesn't hear my voice. However, after installing Flash, online microphone tests were able to detect it, but after few minutes it went to its old condition.

I have the latest drivers installed and volume as high as possible (including mic boost). What's interesting, my microphone from webcam works perfectly in system and games, but can't be seen online.

    Any solution?

You have the LifeCam VX-1000 set as the default recording device. No other device can be heard.

Change the Default Recording Device to the Stereo Mix, then whatever recording device is used it should be heard.

Doesn't work. Lifecam changes its status to Default Communication Device, while my hs' micro still has 2-3 green lines. I have also changed volume of stereo mix to be sure, but nothing happens.

For testing, disable the Cam and see if the Stereo Mix and mic work.

I did as you said, didn't help. For a short moment the bar was full of green when I was talking. You may think that my hs' micro is out of order, but somehow online tests detected it.

    Two things.

    1) I tried to plug in into back panel, but it doesn't detect voice either. I also used another headsets, but they do not work too
    2) Changes I made on computer trying to solve the problem using your advice made condition even worse, because I can't hear voice from speakers and headsets simultaniesly, which is annoying (I have to change default playback device every time I want to switch the device)

    Please help.
