    ATI HDMI output is unplugged

I did not send that CBS Log the good way I think, so I try again.

I have now put it in my documents, so I should be able to send it with this as an attachment.

I think it worked. I also did the disck cleanup, therefore I had to restart, does that also give a log ?

This disck cleanup I had naver managed to do before, GREAT !:)

    I've uploaded a file - tlmaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive

    Please download and save it.

Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...

Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)

Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
    Pick that

You'll have to log in with your username and password.
Pick the option to use a Command Prompt

    At the prompt type
    DIR C:\tlmaa
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
    DIR D:\tlmaa
    or
    DIR E:\tlmaa

The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...

    XCOPY <drive>:\tlmaa <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h

    (e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )

run the command (it should take almost no time) and when the prompt returns, type

    EXIT

and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.

Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt

then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your reply

    Ok NoelDP,

I did all you proposed. There wasone thing I found confusing ( sorry I am absolutly new in all this and have dislexia)

The "change the target to C:\ " and then click on extract.

    Anyway here is the CBS log, hope I did it the good way ;

    ATI HDMI output is unplugged

    Hello Noel PD,

I know you are massively occupied on this forum with people that are much more capable of following your instructions than me, but I did understand it all exept the "change the target " bit mentioned in my message before.

If you have a bit of time can you please tell me exactly what to do there ?

Then I try the hole lot once more.

    All ready thanks so much,

    Thelma

Sorry - I must have missed the notification

All thirteen errors are still present in the Sfcdetails log, which probably means that you made an error in the copying.

I'll post an alternative fix method later for you.

    Sorry about the delay!

Please download SFCFix from here... http://www.sysnative.com/niemiro/apps/SFCFix.exe and save it to your desktop (we'll need it later anyhow, I think)

    I've uploaded a file - SFCFix.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Open the SFCFix location in Windows Explorer - and drag the SFCFix.zip file over onto the SFCFix.exe file - this should force SFCFix to run the file
It will create a new log file (SFCFix.txt) - please upload that.
    *
Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)
    *
Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Solved ATI HDMI output is unplugged

    Hi Noel,

I happen to pass by accident on this thread. I never did see your last answer with instructions before ?

    Weird

I like to try your suggestions, but cannot open them, probably to old ?
