No sound in back audio panel jack - Realtek HD Audio Manager

    Hello,

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I have a problem with sound. When I plug my speakers in front panel I have output audio, but in back panel I don't.

My Audio Manager looks like this, but front panel is enabled and back panel is disabled. It does not recognize back (ANALOG) jack.

I tried with settings in this manager but without success, I cheked Control Panel > Sound and followed instructions but still no sound if speakers is in back panel. What to do?

    P.S
    Sorry for bad english

What is set as the Default Playback Device? If "Digital" or "HDMI" is set as default you will not get any sound from rear audio connections. "Speaker" must be set as Default Playback Device/

Go to Control Panel/Hardware and Sound and finally the Sound Playback panel.

You show a 5.1 speaker system selection. Do you actually have a 5.1 system with 3 connections?

Please post a picture of the system that has the problem, so we can try to troubleshoot the correct system.

    Also the system specs.

I am having exactly the same problem for several months now and I can't find the solution no matter what. I used to be able to switch between the headphones which I have connected to the front panel jack and the speakers in the back through the Realtek Sound Manager, but suddenly the back panel jack simply stopped transmitting any sound signal at all. The front jack keeps working fine though and the speakers themselves are perfectly operational as well.

I tried to deactivate/reactivate the speakers from Control Panel > Sound and I even uninstalled/reinstalled the audio driver but with no luck.

    Motherboard: ASUS H97M Plus
    NVIDIA High Definition Audio 1.3.26.4
    Audio Driver: RTKVD64.sys

Thanks a lot for your time :)
