    Flashdrive download

I have transfered music from another computer (windows 8 ) to a flashdrive. I want to transfer that music to my computer via Flashdrive. It will not download to windows media player. I can play the music direct from the flashdrive, but media player will not save it . Please Help, Chaso.

Hi CHASO and welcome to the forum. Try highlighting all the music files then just grab one with your mouse and drag the whole thing to the music file that should work.

Thank you for your prompt reply, I wish your advise were that easy to work, but no go. All the music titles are shown in Windows Media Player but cant play music direct from WMP.. Have tried dragging file across to create a playlist, file comes across but still cant play it. In desperate measures I have burnt the data from flashdrive to a blank CD with the intention to RIP the music to WMP, no go. The music is on the CD as I can play it direct from the CD but wont download to WMP. Thanking You Chaso.

I have hard time trying to understand what you mean by "download to WMP".

Just copy the files from USB or CD and paste to Music folder (or any other folder of your choosing). And drag drop them to WMP from that folder. If WMP already has the files added, remove them first before adding the ones on your PC.

What kind of files are you trying to transfer?
