New Realtek HD audio driver 6.0.1.7878 available for 64-bit Windows. See first post for more details. :)
If you have no problems with your audio either in windows or games should you still update the sound card drivers like you do with video card drivers?
Which link did you use?
I used this link Realtek and chose the zip file like it looks like you did by your post and i got the setup.exe in there. Did your antivirus delete it?
The link i posted is that the link you used? If need be i can upload the zip file for you. But mine is in English.
Here is the link for it in case you need it. I 7ziped it to make it small so you don't have to waste that much bandwidth on it in case you have a download limit on your internet. It is 78 mb and will unzip to 645mb.

Ok click on start>control panel> device manager.
Look for sound, video and game controllers.
Double click on the realtek device when the new dialog box pops up click on the driver tab.
Then click on update drivers.
When the dialog box pops up click on browse my computer for driver software.
When the next screen appears click browse. Browse to where you unzipped the files at.
Once you select the location of the driver click next and it will install the driver after a few moments. You should see this if it was successful.
I hope this helps you out. If you need any more help let me know and I'll be more then happy to help you out.
I made a system restore before updating to these new drivers and unfortunately had to restore back to the previous version of the audio drivers. It messed up my sound settings and also removed a lot of the bass boost for my 1400W Hi-Fi connected to my PC. It sounded like there was no bass at all almost. A huge decrease anyway. I have 2 300W subs connected to my amps.
