Hi, erpster, now I understand about the latest audio drivers.
Please give As rock site link of realtek hd audio drivers. When I click, it gives the driver and not the link.
I erred in asking The question should be, why realtek alone is updating the audio driver, when nvidia did not.
This is what is implied from my previous post, but the query is missing "not" after the word giving in my previous post.
Hope that you give the link
I do not understand what you are trying to accomplish with these questions.

I have a busy schedule and I am not always online - plus there was a recent power and internet outage yesterday and I had no internet access for a while until both power and internet were recently restored in my area

it's time to move on, jraju - we're done here.
any further discussion should be discussed in a separate topic instead of here
I will no longer answer any of your questions here and only on a separate or different thread

my only focus here is about Realtek HDA drivers - hence just the download links to any Realtek audio drivers mention by me, Brink or any other user and nothing else

    I was previously using 6.0.9132.1 HDA FF00
    I installed 6.0.9151.1 HDA FF00 from the tenforums.com site.
It appears to be working fine in Windows 7 and Windows 10 in my Dell minitowers.

Hi, erpster, I do not want your rushed and words chasing replies.
Sorry, your tone is a little away from normal.
Mine was a casual reminder, thats all.
I just asked for the link, as anybody would ask.

note to Brink: v6.0.9132.1 HDA FF04 x64 generic driver from MUC (150.3mb cab download) [posted 6/12/2021]
    WHQL for 64bit Win7 & Win10

and about more than a few weeks late on this but
    v6.0.9151.1 HDA FF00 32bit/64bit generic driver from ASRock Industrial (for ASRock IMB-390-D, IMB-390-L & IMB-391 micro-ATX motherboards) [posted 5/20/2021]
also WHQL for Windows from Win7 to Win10

note: HDA FFxx drivers from 6.0.9013.1 to 6.0.9132.1 use invalid or incorrect "SYSFX_POSTMIX_CLSID"
entries in the INF files (like HDXRT.inf) for Win7, which may result in Realtek "Sound Effect"
enhancement options being lost/missing. HDA drivers from 6.0.9000.1 & earlier used proper "SYSFX_POSTMIX_CLSID"
    entries for Win7.

it seems Realtek started to use the correct SYSFX_POSTMIX_CLSID entry with the 6.0.9151.1 and higher
    versions.

some of jraju's concerns were already addressed by someone else here but it seems he does not have a clue as to what he really wants to accomplish and this thread has drifted off topic (hence me being "mad" at him back then)

well jim, time to get this topic back on track and this thread is about Realtek HD Audio drivers and I will only concentrate on discussion about Realtek audio drivers here (and anything not related to Realtek audio drivers will be ignored)

v6.0.9183.1 HDA FF00 generic x64 driver from Supermicro [released 7/28/2021], alternate link to 9183 FF00 x64 from Station Drivers
-a little bit older than the 9191 FF00 version from HP but 9183 seems to work well
    -WHQL for x64 Win7 & Win10

There are no dumb questions, just the people who do not ask them.

epster every single thread here is about helping someone else---and what the problem is........ you seem to have gone off track forgetting that. and if that's the case, I wont waste any energy on it other then to say,
and its just my feeling, I don't wanna be dogmatic about it, but if you don't have the real emotional energy and time then please don't post here. go were people only know as much as you do, and don't need the "You" in you, instead of shrinking people to even more personal confusion, which is really off track, the human track. Mean while I stand by my post, there's a pandemic, 100's of thousands have been left with mental impairment, as my school teacher friends tell me all the time, "I've lost my brightest students Etc. (or ha ha are recovering from a brown recluse bite like me) "not having a clue" is what makes this forum have a heartbeat, a worth. and the first step in helping anyone is empathy.
