For those looking for an alternative download site, if you can wait a day or two (from what I have seen usually 24 hours or less) you can find them here,

    download from Guru3D.com

does anyone else get really bad crackling noises when they log in? I have since the last 5 or so updates and 2.31 didn't solve it at all. overall the sound is the same, with the occasional pop noise.

everything is ok for me unless there is considerable i/o load, like transferring files from an s/d card through the integrated reader to a usb hdd. then the sound just garbles, retards and drops out.

also, windows cannot see my audio device wen waking up from sleep or hibernation. the only thing i can do to get it back is reboot.

these issues are under ver 2.29. will try 2.31 tonight. anyone have the same issues?

Not sure if this is the right place to post about this but apparently the "speaker fill" option no longer exists in the latest Realtek Audio Driver? I just upgraded to 2.31 and it seems to lack this feature.

I have a Klipsch 4.1 speaker system and I couldn't get the speakers to output on all 4 speakers because I didn't see the speaker fill option anymore in the Realtek Audio Manager. The only way I have been able to fix this though is to go to the Dolby Master Studio tab and enable Dolby Pro Logic IIx. Seems to sound fine to me but is there any problem with this? Or is there a better way for me to get sound going to all my speakers? Thanks!
