No problem. Im having a problem. Do I need sound blaster SE driver and this or can I just use this? Also, there are different folders that contain the setup file. Which setup file do I use to install the software and driver?

All I was trying to accomplish is an easy way to activate my front headset plug and I saw instructions using realtek. I orignally tried Creative but I could not record through the headset. I could only hear.

Ok, How about 6 installations and then you wonder why is a HD driver going to work on a non HD sound card??? Ok, so I downloaded the non HD driver for windows 7 and windows will still not recognize it! Can anyone give me any instructions on what to do? For some reason drivers were always the hardest thing for me to update.

Provide your HP model number and someone will be able to tell you which driver to download.

    Ok you have 3 choices.

    1. windows update has a basic driver for 32 bit

    2. beta driver from Creative http://ccftp.creative.com/manualdn/D..._1_04_0079.exe

    3. The ever popular Daniel K drivers SB P17X Series Support Pack 1.0 (04/18/2009) - AudigySE/Value/LS/Live24bit/XFi XtremeAudio/SB5.1VX - Sound Blaster - Creative Labs
