MY Computer Knows When I go to Walk Away?

Every time my wife or I get up from our computers it makes the disconnected sound as we just unplugged headphones or something from the USB ports. It is almost as if the computer acknowledges us leaving the computer. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this?

no blue tooth, and it does it instantly, but only when we go to stand up and walk away, typically not enough time for it to go to sleep, plus we have them set up to not go to sleep for at least an hour after inactivity, we can be typing, stop for half a second, stand up and start to walk away and they make the noise.

    Ghost in the machine maybe?

Sorry, some system spec.'s would help us greatly in diagnosing your issue. "South Carolina" is not an O.S. (Operating System)

Heres how to show them to us :System Info - See Your System Specs

Just click on that link, follow the instructions and we'll see what we can do.

Yeah, specs will be good, I didn't bother to look at yours.

Does the PC do anything other than make the disconnect tone?

Nah, you filled in the My system Specs area.
All I can think of is someone is pranking you, or you are pranking us. There is no logical physical electronic reason this would happen.
